I bought some rose seeds online on ebay and some Peony seeds came with them as a “gift” . The peony plant i had before (which I grew from a dry root) did not produce seeds although I had the plant in its mature flowering state for around 5 years. Anyway I have these seeds now which i hope to grow now even though I have never attempted to grow peony plants from seed. I also have to challenge of not having a garden since i have moved…i now only have a patio and am stuck with container gardening. ( If you can offer any advice on growing them I would appreciate it…also advice on the rose seeds , thanks :)
Hi Carol
Sorry for not getting back to you sooner as I was out of town for about 6 weeks.
I have added the pamphlet from The Canadian Peony Society on “Growing Peonies from seed”. Hope you find the information helpful. I haven’t been brave enough to try germinating my Peony seeds yet. Good Luck with your project and let me know how it goes.
If you or anyone else would like to try germinating some of my Peony seeds I would be happy to share them with you.
Good dispatch and this post helped me alot in my college assignement. Thanks you seeking your information.
